With more than half of a home’s water use going towards outdoor watering, a water-wise landscape is a great alternative to grass. Not only are California friendly and native plants beautiful, they are also drought tolerant and provide a habitat for butterflies, birds and bees. Located outside of EVMWD’s Headquarters, a water-wise garden was established to showcase a variety of California friendly and native plants, and how beautiful and easy a water-wise landscape can be.
